Teen Pop-Punk Prodigy Kid Prexy Unleashes a Dazzling Love Anthem

Hailing from Oklahoma, sixteen-year-old musical sensation Kid Prexy is redefining the pop-punk landscape. His latest masterpiece, “I Think That You’re Pretty,” is a vibrant anthem capturing the thrill of youthful romance. This track is a blend of electrifying guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and an infectious chorus, showcasing his exceptional talent.

Behind this exhilarating single is the expertise of Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Kevin Thrasher, known for collaborations with icons like Machine Gun Kelly and Blink 182. The result is a track with a legendary sound profile. Accompanying the song is a captivating music video directed by Kid Lennon and with added animation by Rob Fidel (Green Day) for an early 2000s MTV inspired aesthetic that oozes with excitement and nostalgia. The video features Kid Prexy in a monochromatic setting, interspersed with dynamic animated elements, while performing with every cell in his body to the song’s energetic vibe.

“I Think That You’re Pretty” is an immersive journey into the whirlwind of first love, marked by catchy lyrics and striking instrumentals. Kid Prexy shares,  “I wrote this song to express the feeling you get when you see someone that you’re instantly attracted to and can’t stop thinking about them. For the music video, I wanted it to have an old school pop punk vibe and be performance driven. I think it turned out really sick and having my drum teacher, Josh Henry, from my School of Rock days perform with me was a lot of fun!”

Kid Prexy isn’t just a rising star; he’s a force in the making. Having opened for The Kid Laroi at the Paycom Center Arena in Oklahoma City, to being featured on MTV, Sirius and Idobi, he’s on a meteoric rise to stardom.
