PRESENTED BY RAISED FIST PROPAGANDA & THE CHRISTENSEN GALLERY

Babylon, NY – Internationally published photographer and Raised Fist Propaganda founder Jeff Pliskin will unveil his latest pop-up photography exhibition, Leaving Babylon, hosted at The Christensen Gallery in Babylon, NY.
The one-night-only event will run Sunday, October 5th, from 3PM to 7PM, and will feature an exclusive acoustic performance by HR, the legendary frontman of Bad Brains.
Pliskin, known for capturing raw and unfiltered moments across reggae, punk, hip-hop, and underground subcultures, brings his boldest work yet to this intimate Long Island showcase. Leaving Babylon explores themes of rebellion, spirituality, and community through a lens that has defined Raised Fist Propaganda’s aesthetic for over a decade.
Adding to the cultural significance of the evening, HR – widely regarded as one of the most influential voices in punk and hardcore history-will perform a special stripped-down acoustic set. His presence represents not only a musical highlight but also a continuation of the spirit and energy that has inspired Pliskin’s work.
“This exhibition isn’t just about photography— it’s about the soundtrack and the stories that shaped it,” said Pliskin.
“Having HR perform at the gallery is beyond full circle. It’s history, art, and music in one room.”
