New York, NY – Singer-songwriter Christopher Jon continues his heartfelt musical journey with the release of his moving single “Once in a Lifetime,” now available on all streaming platforms. The official music video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Will Macaulay of Modern Day Auteur, is set to premiere in the coming weeks. Will has worked with a number of notable acts, further cementing the video as a powerful and professional visual companion to Christopher’s story.

Growing up in a home filled with sound, from his father’s acoustic guitar to the vinyl records spinning in the living room, Christopher Jon discovered early on that music was more than entertainment; it was storytelling, connection, and healing. Influenced by genre-defying artists who blended rock, blues, and country, he began writing lyrics that mirrored his own life experiences, carried forward by his powerful voice.
In his late teens and early adulthood, Christopher honed his craft performing across New York, collaborating with respected musicians and producers while developing a sound rooted in authenticity and emotion.
Life, however, would take him in a new direction. After becoming a father to his daughter Sophia Grace and later his son Tristan James, Christopher stepped away from music to focus on family. But in August 2021, tragedy struck when Sophia passed away at just five years old. Her passing reshaped his world and ultimately brought him back to music, the same passion that brought Sophia so much joy.
“Once in a Lifetime” emerges from this journey, weaving together resilience, memory, and love into a song that transcends grief. With raw emotion and a soaring vocal delivery, Christopher Jon transforms his personal story into a universal anthem for anyone who has cherished and lost, but continues to hold on through the power of music.
Looking ahead, Christopher Jon has more in store for listeners. He just wrapped production on his next single “Back For You,” featuring legendary saxophonist Ritchie Cannata and produced by Eren Cannata. The track is currently being mixed and mastered and is due out in the next few weeks.
In addition to new releases, Christopher is actively seeking session musicians to join him on his creative journey as he continues to craft original music for his forthcoming full-length album.
