NEW JERSEY – New Jersey singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Damien Musto is stepping into a new chapter of his career with the release of his new solo album, “Cracks in the Pavement,” a deeply personal and expansive project produced by Jimmy Gnecco of OURS and Wayne Dorell. Blending raw emotion, alternative rock textures, and cinematic songwriting, the album marks the evolution of an artist whose journey through New Jersey’s music scene has been defined by relentless dedication and artistic growth.
Known for his work as a guitarist in respected indie bands small a.m. (Childlike Records) and Hey Tiger, Damien built a reputation for his electrifying stage presence and versatile musicianship. Over the years, he carved out a dynamic path throughout the East Coast music circuit, eventually reaching a career milestone when he opened for Bon Jovi at MetLife Stadium. His time touring across the United States and Canada with OURS further sharpened his artistry and laid the groundwork for his transition into solo work.
His next release, “Taking Chances,” is a song about resilience, hope, and the courage to embrace life’s uncertainties. Written in a hotel room while on tour during a period of personal challenge and self-discovery, Damien’s lyrics reflect a journey of growth and renewal. In addition to his solo material, Damien Musto continues his creative collaboration with artist Kristy Chmura. Together, they have been steadily releasing singles from Kristy’s upcoming album, “Inner Solstice.” The project features acclaimed drummer Christian Eigner of Depeche Mode and producer/musician Niko Stoessl, bringing an international depth and atmospheric quality to the record.
